We had one simple mission in mind when we started, to make takeout and delivery better.

that’s the gtk way

Interior of a casual cafe or restaurant with blue walls, illuminated sign saying 'There's always something for everyone!', two people clinking cans with 'gtk' on the sleeves, a purple and white wall art of a bowl filled with food labeled 'YUM', and a woman sitting on a stool making a peace sign, holding a GTK shopping bag.

What Hoboken + Jersey City Are Saying About gtk

“Consistently one of the best restaurants in Hoboken / Jersey City hands down. Ive ordered for myself, family, friends and coworkers and they all love the food here. Pulled pork burrito and the Steak sandwich are the best. The desserts are also amazing. You can tell everything is fresh and handmade quality food. I love it!”

— Kevin J.

“The sweetest establishment ever! This is my second time ordering from them in a day and wanted to share how nice they made me feel while under the weather. Also their food is literally amazing and so fresh, probably the best tomato soup I have ever had!!!”

— Sahana K.

Amazing food! And amazing service. Order delivery from here a lot and food is always consistent and delicious. A single time I had an issue with an order and when I called the employee was incredibly nice, polite, and apologetic. Sent out the corrected order immediately and threw in some extra treats. Would definitely recommend.”

ABOUT OUR
FOUNDER

Andrew Martino grew up in New Jersey, but got his start in hospitality working at a bar while attending Syracuse. Post-graduation, he disappointed his mother and took a job as the General Manager of a restaurant and bar on Long Beach Island, NJ in 2007.

A few months after Superstorm Sandy in 2012, he moved to San Diego. In his time there, he served as a bar manager, general manager, and director of operations for various restaurant groups including launching multiple new concepts.

In 2015, he started Martino Hospitality Services focusing on concept creation, menu development and operational analysis. That year, he also settled down in Jersey City with his now wife and dog.

After years working for both corporate and private clients on hospitality operations + tech and during his research in 2017 on future food trends, Andrew came up with the idea for gtk.

A food pickup area with two windows labeled 'Customer Pickup' and 'Driver Pickup.' There is a smiling man at the 'Customer Pickup' window. An ice cream freezer with a cartoon truck and the words 'SIP N SWIRL' is in front of the windows. A TV screen displays a salad.
